Seamus Barrett, class '45

The Union was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Seamus Barrett (class '45), brother of the late Donal (Donie) (class '46) and the late Richard (Dick) (class '56).

Born in Crossmolina, 17th October 1926. Seamus, peacefully in the presence of his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Nance (née Murphy), brother of the late Noel, Donie, Richard and Breda. Beloved father of Richard, Susan, Paul, Joe, Jeanne and Anne. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons and daughters, sisters, Mary (Connor), Ann (O'Brien), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at the Kennedy Glasgow House, The Quay, Ballina, Co. Mayo, F26 RH58 on Tuesday evening from 4.30 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral will arrive at St. Muredach's Cathedral, Ballina, on Wednesday for Requiem Mass at 1 p.m. followed by burial in Leigue Cemetery. House private please.
