Niall Hannon, class '58

The Union was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Niall Hannon, class '58, father of Gavin, class '99.

Niall Hannon (Feb 3rd 2018) Maple Drive, Royal Canal, Mullingar and formerly of Phibsborough, Dublin (peacefully) in the tender care of the Matron and staff of Newbrook Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Paula and devoted father of Moira, Louise, Zita and Gavin. He will be deeply missed by his wife, daughters, son, grandchildren Oscar, Louis, Leo and Alex, sons-in-law Danny and Jon, daughter-in-law Sheena, brothers, sister, nephews, nieces, relatives and his loyal friends who have been an amazing source of comfort and support.

Reposing at Newbrook Nursing Home Chapel, Mullingar, on Monday Feb 5th from 5pm, concluding with evening prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday in St. Anne's Church, Shankill, at 11.30am, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
