Michael Kerley, class '61

The Union was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Michael Kerley (class '61), brother of Peter (class '71).

KERLEY, Michael Thomas (Late of Tallaght and formerly of Clontarf). After a long illness bravely borne, at the Mater Hospital on 6 July 2021 surrounded by his loving family and his partner, Helen. Predeceased by his brothers Noel, Peter, Milo and Brian. Loved and profoundly missed by Helen, his children, Alison and Simon, his sisters Marie and Angela (Australia), his son-in-law Simon, daughter- in-law Cathy, brother-in-law Gerry, sister-in-law Ann, his grandchildren, his many loving nieces and nephews and Helen’s sons Trevor and Graham and their families. He will also be a huge loss to his many great friends.

A gentle force of nature.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Mater Hospital Foundation. A private family funeral will take place, due to Government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but owing to current restrictions, cannot, may leave a personal message in the ‘Condolences’ section below.
