The Union is saddened to report the passing of past man, John P Reihill, class of '51.

REIHILL, John P., (“Deepwell”, Blackrock, Co. Dublin) February 23, 2013, peacefully at his home, in his 80th year; husband of the late Emer, and Ann Reihill, and partner of the late Mairead Dunlevy. Sadly missed by his children Zita, John, Mark, Christina, Raymond and Karen, step-son Patrick Dillon-Malone, step-daughter Louise Guinness, his grandchildren, his sister Marie Tempany, his P.A. Breda Conway,nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A celebration of John’s life will take place on Saturday morning (2nd March) at 11am at the Concert Hall in the RDS (opposite the Horse Show House). Cremation afterwards for family only. Family flowers only. Donations, in lieu, to the Blackrock Hospice or the Irish Cancer Society. House strictly private please. |

The Reihill family have always been strong supporters of the College and the Union, and that connection spans many decades. John and his brother Frank attended from 1946 through to 1955, and his sons Johnny and Mark were here in the 70's and nephew Shane was class of '83.
On behalf of the wider Vincentian community, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family.
