James (Jim) Golden, class '77

The Union was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of James (Jim) Golden (class '77), brother of Bill (class '76), Martin (class '79) and John (class '82).

Formerly of Mallow, Co. Cork. Peacefully at the Mater Private Hospital, Dublin after a bravely borne battle with cancer.

Devoted and loving husband of Claire (McMahon), kind and loving father of John, Kevin, Mark and Lorcan, brother of Bill, Martin and John. Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, his four sons, brothers, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, aunt, extended family, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

May Jim Rest In Peace

Reposing at his family home from 5 o'clock until 9 o'clock on Tuesday with prayers at 7 o'clock. Reposing on Wednesday from 1 o'clock until 4 o'clock. Removal on Thursday morning (27th February) at 10:30 to arrive at St. Annes Church, Bohernabreena for requiem mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in Saint Josephs Cemetery, Bohernabreena.
