Fr. Roderic Crowley, class '47

The Union was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Fr. Roderic Crowley, (class '47), brother of the late Niall (class '44), the late Conor (class '46), the late Tim (class '53) and the late Laurence (class '55).

Fr. Roderic Crowley CM (St. Paul’s Sybil Hill, Raheny), January 29th 2023 peacefully aged 93 yrs. Sadly missed by his dear sister Marianne, his sister-in-law, beloved nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, his Vincentian Confreres and many friends. Fr. Roderic was predeceased by his brothers Niall, Conor, Tim and Laurence.

Lying in repose at Vincentian Residence, Sybil Hill Road, Raheny from 4pm to 6pm Wednesday 1st February. Requiem Mass 11am Thursday 2nd February at Daughters of Charity Chapel, Dunardagh, Blackrock, Co. Dublin followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery.

The family would like to express their deep gratitude to Nurse Eileen Maher for her dedicated care for Fr. Roderic, to all the Sisters and staff at Nazareth House, Malahide Road and to all the carers and staff at Sybil Hill House, Raheny.
