Desmond (Des) McGinley, class '47

The Union was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Desmond (Des) McGinley (class '47), brother of Joe (class '53), Niall (class '57) and the late Brian (class '65).

McGINLEY - (London and Letterkenny) On December 20, 2020 in London, Desmond, beloved husband of Jean, predeceased by his brother Brian and his sister Muriel Kelly. Deeply regretted by Jean and his stepson Duncan Jones, his sister Ann Donohoe, brothers Joe and Niall, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and by his Vincentian confreres. Funeral Mass will take place in St Margaret of Scotland Church, Twickenham, at 12 noon on Wednesday 20 January.
