Dermot Walsh, class '61

The Union was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Dermot Walsh (class '61), brother of Patrick (class '58).

Walsh; Carrigart, Co. Donegal, Dermot, 16th January 2020 peacefully, surrounded by his family in the wonderful care of Letterkenny University Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Susan (nee O’Sullivan) and loving father to Cormac, Aisling, Afric, Oisin, Diarmuid & Niamh. He will be sadly missed by his family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, 8 grandchildren, brother, sisters, extended family and friends. Reposing at home from 4p.m. Friday 17th January. Removal from there at 11a.m on Sunday 19th January to St John the Baptist Church, Carrigart for 11.30a.m Mass followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. If desired, donation in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. Peace perfect peace.
