Aidan Doyle, class of '51
The Union was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Aidan Doyle (class '51), father of Robert (class '82).
Doyle Aidan (Baggot Street and formerly of Doyle’s Corner, Phibsborough) November 12, 2021. Suddenly but peacefully after a short illness in the kind care of the wonderful staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Husband of the late Colette and loving father to Linda, Catherine and Robert and brother to Dr. Jacqueline Furlong MacCarthy and the late Brian. He will be very sadly missed by his son, daughters, sister, his cherished grandchildren Steven, Robert, Dominic, Rebecca, Melissa, Caroline, Juliet, Johnny and Philip, brother-in-law Paul, sons-in-law George and Mark, daughter-in-law Kate, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and his former colleagues in the hospitability industry including the Burlington Hotel and Annabel’s, Skal and the United Arts Club, Dublin.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday 17th November at 11am in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
