Union Debate 2024
Dear Pastmen,
I am delighted to announce that the Union Debate, after a hiatus owing to the pandemic, will take place once again at the College in the Concert Hall on the evening of Thursday, 17th October at 7:30pm.
The motion will be "This House believes that a Republican win would be a threat to world democracy."
The format will comprise two teams each consisting of two pastmen and two current students at the College.
I am pleased to inform you that Ms Sharon Ní Bheoláin, well-known newsreader and presenter with RTÉ, will be chairing the debate and that entertainer Mr Keith Barry will be guest adjudicator.
The event is free to attend but the College have requested that attendees RSVP in order to keep track of numbers.
