The Union Medal

The Union Medal was first presented on Union Day 2003. Commissioned in solid silver depicting St. Vincent de Paul, the Medal is to be presented annually to the student who is nominated by the teaching staff of the College as an individual who has made a special contribution to College life because of his character, spirit, commitment, and particularly the manner of his contact with Staff and Students alike.
On June 1oth, out in the College, an Honours Board with the names of the 17 winners of the Union Medal which was donated to the College by the Union was unveiled by the Union President Mr Fintan Cooney and the Headmaster Mr Chris Kinder.
