Mr. Liam Cosgrave, pastman of the Class of 1940 and Past President of the Castleknock College Union (1979-80) celebrates his 90th Birthday on 13th April. All of the Union extend heartiest congratulations to Mr Cosgrave on his birthday and wish him many happy returns. Mr. Cosgrave entered Irish politics in 1943 and served until his retirement in 1981, during which time he was elected Taoiseach (1973-77).
