Devin Toner, class '04, becomes most capped Leinster Rugby Player

Dear Pastman,

On behalf of the Union, I congratulate our fellow Pastman Devin Toner on becoming the most capped Leinster Rugby player of all time winning his 262nd cap as he helped Leinster overcome Munster to win the Guinness PRO 14 final today. I recall helping out years ago at the College with interview practice for the 6th years and Devin was one of the students I interviewed. When I asked him what he wanted to do after Castleknock, he said play rugby. I don't recall what I said but probably told him to get a fall back just in case! With 70 Irish and 262 Leinster caps so far, he didn't need any fall back! Well done Devin on a wonderful career and we wish you continued success both on and off the field. Devin, you make us all proud Knock men when we watch you play!
