2024 Business Lunch - Guest Speaker Niall Quinn
Niall Quinn will be our guest speaker. Niall is a former Irish international soccer player who played top flight football for Arsenal, Manchester City and Sunderland. Quinn earned 92 caps for the Republic of Ireland, scoring 21 times, making him Ireland's second highest goal scorer of all time and played at the UEFA European Championship in 1988 and two FIFA World Cups in 1990 and 2002.
Quinn also represented Dublin at underage football and hurling and lost an All-Ireland Minor hurling final to Galway in 1983.
When he retired from playing, Quinn led a consortium to buy Sunderland Football Club and subsequently became the club's chairman. He also had a spell as manager before stepping down to a role as club director.
In January 2020, Quinn was appointed as interim deputy chief executive officer of the FAI, choosing to go without salary until the financial future of the organisation could be secured.
2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023 saw c. 500 past men sit down to lunch. We hope to match that number again with most years through to 2023 taking their own table(s) of 10/12. It's also the ideal occasion to entertain friends and business associates so you are more than welcome to bring guests along.
It takes place at 12.30 pm on Friday March 22nd in, The Intercontinental Hotel, Ballsbridge.
If booking more than one ticket, please use the Comments section of the booking form to enter 'additional name/class' for other attendees.
