2016 Business Lunch
Ballsbridge Hotel, John Bruton guest speaker
Our Business Lunch this year takes place on Friday 8th April at 12:30pm at the Ballsbridge Hotel (formerly Jury's Ballsbridge), and it gives us great pleasure to confirm John Bruton as our guest speaker.
John who was elected to the Dail in 1969 served as minster under Liam Cosgrave (our fellow past man, '40 class) and Garrett Fitzgerald and then served as Taoiseach from 1994 to 1997. On retiring from active politics, he went on to serve as EU Ambassador to the United States from 2004 to 2009, and more recently as Chairman of IFSC Ireland. What with this being with the centenary anniversary of the “Rising”, a general election year and Brexit looming large in the background, expect some informative insights from John over the course of a fine lunch.
As ever, for this popular event, attendance is open to past men, their guests, parents and friends of the Union. It is the ideal occasion to entertain friends and business associates in a lively and relaxed atmosphere.
Please book at link above to secure your year group table or seat on same.
