The Stephen's Green Hibernian Club, Ireland's Premier Private Member's Club, now celebrating over 170 years, is situated in the heart of Dublin City Centre in a beautiful 18th Century building on Stephen's Green.
The Club grew out of the earlier Union Club closely associated with Daniel O’Connell, the 19th Century political reformer. It first opened its doors in 1840 as the Stephen's Green Club. In 2004, following the closure of the Hibernian Services Club in No. 8, the Stephen's Green Club amalgamated with this and hence became the Stephen's Green Hibernian Club - extending itself to an even bigger membership base. With continually growing membership, drawn from the world of business and the professions, it is now one of the largest private members clubs on St. Stephen's Green.
The Union is delighted to host our 2014 Dinner at this fine club, and one that is almost as old as the College itself..
